After the success of my morning and evening self-love routines, I have refined the morning routine into a Self-Love Menu that you can grab on the go.
Self-Care is something close to my heart. Through self-love & self-care I have learned to take care of my mind, my body and my spirit.
We often forget to take care of ourselves, we rush out of the door without stopping for breakfast and end up grabbing an unhealthy snack on the way.
To give ourselves energy we opt for soda/fizzy drinks and chocolate because our body is craving the fuel it missed from not having a nutritious and filling breakfast.
In a busy world, it is important that you take time out for yourself each day. Getting just five minutes of uninterrupted fresh air, meditation or just moving your body is a healthy and beneficial ways to practice self-care.
In the years I have been practising self-care, I have fallen in love with taking care of myself.
I know all too well that we often mask our feelings of desperation and drown in this tempest that is life, always putting others before ourselves and ignoring the needs of our own minds and bodies.
There is a certain guilt felt, when we take time for ourselves. Self-Care, self-love and me time is not selfish, it’s self-preservation.
You can’t pour from an empty cup, so don’t forget to take care of yourself. Your Mind, Body, Spirit and your loved ones will thank you for it.
