Getting a Good Night’s Sleep is vital! Not only does it prepare you for the day ahead, in the long run, a good night’s sleep can reduce the effects of depression and heart-related problems.
 
If you can try to get 7 – 9 hours of sleep a night, your body will thank you for it (trust me). 
 
So after experimenting a little, I have compiled (Just for you)  10 Amazing Tips for the perfect night’s sleep.

How to enjoy a Perfect Night’s Sleep

 
1. Meditate for 10 minutes 
 
2. Night-Time Cleansing Routine
 
3. Soak in a Relaxing Bath
 
4. Have a soothing cup of Herbal Tea 
 
5. Light some candles or dim the lights
 
6. Switch your phone to Silent
 
7. Turn off the Television
 
8. Read a chapter of your Favourite Book 
 
9. Write in your Gratitude Journal/Diary
 
10. Have a lovely sleep
 
 
 P.s if you share a bed.. Try not to hog the covers & snore all night 🙂

    I read most nights before bed, but I still struggle to unwind and switch off. I think I’ll try meditating or something similar to clear my mind and stop thinking about work. I work in a studio so it’s irregular hours, which doesn’t help. A shower just revitalises me! Ha!

      Hey Chris, Thank you for connecting. Irregular hours are a nightmare!! Fear not, Meditation is something, if done every morning and night, will help clear your mind and thoughts (I do it religiously). If you are struggling, try Guided Meditation – Michael Sealey on Youtube is fantastic. I do however Highly Recommend that you try all the steps for a full week, you will see a big difference.     Thanks, I’ll definitely check out that video. My biggest issue is probably routine and unwinding I guess. I tend to be all over the place a lot and I suffer from either jet lag or inability to just forget about stuff and relax. Sleep deprivation can lead to all sorts of things (I’m sure you know) so I wanna get on top of it. I’m glad I came across your blog.😊

      Hi John, thank you for the lovely comment and the follow on Twitter. Yes, I really recommend that you try all the steps for a week first, you will see a change.
      Then work on yourself every day. Relaxation/Meditation videos are incredible for a deep night’s sleep.

        Hi Jaiden! Well I tried this for the last 10 days and your steps worked great. The only one that I didn’t do was a hot shower, as this tends to wake me up. Still have not searched for the YouTube video, but plan to soon. Thank you so much!

    Best thing I always did whilst travelling was read before going to sleep reading about mindfulness was especially useful! Will try an incorporate some of the other steps in too, thanks for the tips Jaiden x
